Walt Disney World Tag!

Hello Lovlies!
So today i thought id do a Walt Disney World Tag since i will be working their this summer! I had a look around for different tags and decided on this one,  may add in a couple of my own questions too!
Please leave your answers to the questions below!
Here we gooo...

1-First time you went to Disney World?
I cant actually remember the first time i went to Disney World as i believe i was only 1! but i loved looking through pictures from my first trip! I was very lucky that my family went on quite a few florida holidays growing up! so many amazing memories from those holidays!.

2- Favourite Park?
This is a hard question but I'm going to have to choose Magic Kingdom! its just so magical and for me is the most iconic park because of Cinderella's castle! I love all the rides and the lands and you cant beat a bit of Main Street USA! But second favourite would have to be MGM (now Hollywood Studios) because i love the shows that they have there.

3-Favourite land in Magic Kingdom?
I would have to say FantasyLand! Personally think its the most magical land! Plus that is were the carousel is!.

4- Favourite Disney Resort Hotel?
Personally i have never stayed in a Disney Resort, i have had a meal in the Contemporary Resort which was lovely! I have always loved the look of the Swan & Dolphin hotel because it just looks so fancy! When i go this summer i am staying the Art Of Animation Resort so I'm so excited!

5-Favourite Snack?
Hands down Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Sandwich! Sooo good!

6-Favourite Souvenir ?
Hmm would have to say the Mickey Ears are just a staple souvenir there are so many to choose from! But this year i am on the hunt for the Chip cup from Beauty & The Beast.

7-Favourite Ride?
This is tough one I'm not a massive dare devil when it comes to rides as already mentioned i love the carousel! but also like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain and of course the Tea Cups.

8- Favourite Show?
My favourite show has to be the Beauty & The Beast show! I have loved it since i was young and i believe is one of the reasons i fell in love with dancing and performing! Its a must see!.

9-Favourite Fireworks?
You cant beat Wishes! its just so magical and will bring you to tears! I also really like Epcots Illuminations as is lovely to see all the countries light up at night!
10-Favourite pavilion in EPCOT?
Im going to have to be very patriotic and say the United Kingdom Pavilion, i just love too see a bit of my home in the USA and a little fun fact i took my first steps in EPCOT!.

11-What colour is your magic band?
The Magic Band system wasn't around the last time i was in Orlando but this year i have chosen to have a pink one and I'm so excited to get it!.

12- Favourite character to meet?
Going to have to say Alice i just love her quirky english accent and is just funny! I really want to meet Gaston this year as i have never met him before and from the many videos i have seen of him he seems hilarious!.

13- Best Disney Memory?
This one is really hard because there are literally so many i could choose! but something that was pretty magical was that i saw someone propose in front of the castle it was so amazing and i was like proposal goals or what! But I'm looking forward to making many more memories this summer!Doubt i will be getting proposed too in front of the castle but you never know i may find my Prince Charming!

14-Top of Disney World Bucket List?
I think i may actually great a post on my Disney Bucket List that i am making for this summer! But at the top of my head is to visit all 4 parks in one day (excluding the water parks)! fitting all that magic into one day will be a challenge!

Thanks for reading!

Is Dance a real degree ??...Yes!

Hello Lovlies!

So incase you didn't already know i am currently studying Dance at University and am in my second year and i am very fortunate that i really do love my course but of course there are those times were i want to throw my laptop across the room but someone manage to pull through.

Being a dancer/dance student comes with a lot of controversy with some people as well as other university students and we are met with a lot of questions that do sometimes leave us a bit baffled or annoyed. This isn't a rant post at all i just thought i would let you know some of the questions that i have been asked in the past and what i would like to say to some people as i usually just tend to laugh it off to avoid a massive debate as i can get very protective over my art!Me and my fellow course members are always chatting about this so here we go...

Do you just dance around in a studio all day??
Some people may find it surprising but the answer to this is no! yes of course we do have dance classes but a lot of our time is spent outside of the dance studio especially in second year, there is actually more to a dance degree than just dancing (trust me i could just dance and get a degree)

Do you have theory work?
Yes! and a lot of it, honestly even i was surprised with the amount of theory work that comes with doing a dance degree! As well as being taught how to be professional dancers we are learning how to be teachers, how the body works, dance history and dance appreciation. Trust me when i say the theory does actually out way the practical but its something we have to do so that we can better ourselves as dancers. Yes dancers so essays too!

Is it a full time course?
Being on Dance degree is a full time course even if we are not actually in university every day, we are either in rehearsal, in the library or taking part in extra classes, being a dancer isn't just a hobby its a life choice and there are many sacrifices that come with this. I am constantly either covered in bruises or have some kind of injury or pain somewhere in my body and am often very tired especially when you try and fit in a job and socialising at the same time.

But what can you do with a Dance degree?
There are literally so many different career paths that i could go down and since going to university my eyes have been opened to the industry and all the possibilities out there. Of course there are the obvious choices of performing, joining a company, being in music videos to teaching, opening your own dance school, choreographing, physiotherapy, backstage  work the possibilities are honestly endless.

Is it just full of girls?
Thankfully we now live in a society where it is a lot more socially accepted for both females and males to dance, yes the majority of year is girls with one boy but there are lads in other years and they are all equally was talented. You should be able to express yourself through dance whatever gender, age, size you are.

So there you go a couple of things that dancers often get asked!
There are many more and i could go on and one so
if you want another post let me know!
Do you have any dance questions for me?
Thanks for reading
