1 Step Closer- VISA Appointment & Disney Meet Up

Hello Lovlies!
So last week headed down to London to tick the last box before i head off to Orlando in less than 2 weeks! The reason i had to head down to London was to visit the American Embassy to get my working VISA so really this trip determined whether i was actually going to Florida or not! but thankfully i had no problems and I'm going to America!!!
So i thought id write this quick post to let you know what happens during your visit at the embassy and what i got up to in London.

So on Tuesday 16th myself and my brother (he tagged along to look after his little sis) travelled down to London on the train and stayed the night in a hotel (very squished and roasting hotel but did for the  night). My appointment was for 11.30 on the Tuesday so we watched a film in the hotel and hit the hay! we got ready handy and decided to slowly make our way over the embassy, taking a detour through Hyde Park which was perfect because it was so nice and sunny (we may have got a bit lost!but found our way in the end) *Tip- if your not used to London underground system try and plan it out before you go everything moves so fast in London can be a bit overwhelming! If you are going the embassy i would say get off at Marble Arch Station and then its only a 5 minute walk away.

By the time we arrived at the embassy it was around 10.45 which was 45 minutes before my allocated time but they didn't mind at all and i just joined in the que. If you are feeling a little nervous about the appointment then maybe try and find someone who has the same time or day as you and meet up with them before getting in the que. I met a lovely girl called Aimee who is going to Disney and even turns out we are on the same flight, it was just easier having someone to chat too whilst your waiting.

Prior to your interview you are told all the documents that you are required to bring make it easier on yourself and make sure you triple check you have everything you need , they don't ask for everything but its worth having them with you, just in case! Once you have sued up outside, they check you have the right documents then send you through to a airport style room where you go through a metal detector and your bags are scanned. Next you go into the embassy and show your passport and documents then you are given a number and wait to be called to a booth, the whole process is really smooth and the ladies i spoke to were both lovely. You basically show them your documents, they may ask what are you doing in the states? what are you doing when you return? quite basic things and then your done and free to go. You get the option to pay £18 to get it sent back to your house or from a pick up point for free, i decided to pay for the delivery and they said it would take up to a week but i got mine on the Friday so only 3 days later which was fabulous.

So after the appointment myself and Aimee decided to walk up to Hyde Park (only round the corner) and look for more Disney Folk, in the end we found a big group of fellow CRP's and we chilled and chatted in the sunshine and then some of use went for food and of course we had to all visit the Disney Store and get a picture in Cinderella's Carriage!
It was lovely to get to know some of the lovely people I'm going to be spending the summer with and they were all so nice and made me feel a lot less nervous about moving to a different country on my own, so i would definitely recommend organising as many meet ups as your can before you go on the programme or even if it was something similar.

After saying goodbye to the Disney gang me and my brother had a look around Oxford Street, but were both so tired so ended up spending around 2 hours in Starbucks (The Smores Marshmallow Frappuccino Happy Hour! Yes Please) . Then we made our way back to Euston and go our train back home!.

I cant believe how close i am away from going to Orlando and I'm looking forward to updating my blog whilst I'm there, so if you have any blog requests or questions please let me know!

If you like Pina Coladas .....for your body?

 Hello Lovlies!
So today i am sharing with you the answer to summer in a scent! The other day i went into The Body Shop to check out their new Pinita Colada range that i have seen on a couple of blog posts! I originally went into to look at it for my mum for her Birthday because her favourite cocktail is a Pina Colada but i just couldn't resist it and had to pick it up for myself too.
Im rubbish at describing scents but it actually smells like the cocktail so a mixture of Pineapple + Coconut = Summer in a scent , i really advise you to go in an have a sniff!

This range includes a number of different items i decided to pick up the Body Butter (£14)  and the Body Scrub (£15), i was actually able to get an amazing deal and was able to get both for £16, I'm not sure how long this offer is on for so head down there now to see if can snap up this deal.
In the range there is also a Body Sorbet (£18), a Shower Gel (£5) and is available in a Gift Set (£25).

What is your favourite BS scent?

If you watch one thing today...

Hello again!
Sorry i have been gone a while! Iv been very busy with uni and also getting ready to move to Orlando in two weeks! So to prepare myself for my new job at Disney World i thought it best that i do as much 'Disney' revision as possible, this is when i came across the film/documentary 'Walt Before Mickey' which is currently on Netflix, this is a must watch for any Disney fan or someone looking for a inspirational movie.

The film follows the story of Walt Disney from a child to man, there was so much that i didn't know about Walt before watching this film, it was so interesting to see where he started with Laugh-O-Gram studios and also gave us a back ground on his family and love life.

There are many familiar faces throughout the film including Thomas Ian Nicholas as Walt himself as well as Jon Heder as Roy Disney and most familiar to me was David Henrie from Wizards Of Waverly Place Rudy Ising and i feel as though everyone in the film played their part perfectly.

At the end of the film i actually got quite emotional, it made me feel very proud that i am going to be working for the Disney Company, and had a tear in my eye when they show how Mickey Mouse was first made! This is a truly inspirational film and shows you that if you truly believe in your dreams they can come true!

If you prefer to read instead of watching the film this film was based on the Timothy S.Susanin which i am very interested in reading.

Have you seen this film?
What was your favourite part?
