The Body Shop Christmas Blogger Event!

Hello Lovlies!
So this week i was asked if i would like to attend Body Shops Christmas launch event on Tuesday evening and of course i said yes, would have been rude not too ;) The event was held at the Liverpool Bold Street Store which is a really cute small store which made it great for the event. So this week The Body Shop released their full christmas range which included some new exciting additions to their makeup range and i was luck enough to have a play with the products the day they were realised so i could share my thoughts with you all.
The Bio-Bridge Campaign
Now at this time of year everyone is busy buying gifts for one another, well wouldn't it be great if those presents you were buying could benefit serve 2 purposes, 1 making the gift receiver happy and 2 making a difference to the world. That is exactly what The Body Shop have decided to do this year, whenever you buy one of their Christmas gifts you are also putting money towards their Wildlife campaign. For every gift you buy 4p will go to the campaign which will restore 1 square metre of forest! They are aiming to raise an impressive £200,000 for the campaign to help wildlife & endangered animals in the likes of Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. To find out more information about this brilliant campaign click here.

Advent Calendars
So as we all know beauty advent calendars have been a massive trend this year (I am yet to buy one!) and the Body shop have created their own version's of the tradition advent calender. This year they have created 3 different options which is a great decision because it could appeal to different budgets. The great thing about all of these calendars is they all have 24 days unlike to which only have 12, they are all very luxurious and our priced between £60-£100 and can all be viewed here.

New Makeup Releases
To be honest i have never really tried any of the Body Shops makeup range but always wanted to give it a go , so it was great to see and try out some of the new range. For the festive season The Body Shop have released some lovely eye shadow quad palettes (£15) which are perfect for a day to night look and have a soft feel & great pigmentation. Whilst i was there i also got to try their new liquid matte lipsticks which once again have a lovely texture and have a great range of colours for only £6.

One of the main things that caught my eye was the new make brush range! I seem to have a bit of a problem with makeup brushes and just like to keep buying them and already i have a few on my wish list. The one that really caught my attention at the contour brush (£14) it just felt so soft and i think it may have to be purchased.
I was given a lovely makeover at the event because i was interested in their foundation and the lightening and darkening drops, the manager of the store who was extremely friendly showed me how the two can be used to contour and highlight which made the darker drops especially seem less daunting. I would defiantly recommend trying this product if you wanted to lighten or darken you foundation or even add to your moisturiser for more of a tinted look.
Signature Christmas Scents!

This year The Body Shop have released 3 signature Christmas scents! and i have to say they are all lovely & christmasy! The scents are Spiced Apple, Vanilla Chai and Frosted Berries. All of these scents come in a wide range of forms including shower gels, body butters, body scrubs, bubble bath,  lip balm, shimmer mist and hand cream, as well as being in a variety of different gift sets!I think my favourite scent maybe the Vanilla Chai especially in the candle form (another great product you can get in all scents)

Here are a couple more pictures i took at the event of a couple of the new products and lovely gift sets! I especially love the look of the 'Spa Of The World' range! especially the beautiful wooden gift box!.
Thank you very much again to the lovely ladies at The Body Shop for inviting me to this event and giving me some lovely samples to try out for myself at home!
What is your favourite all time Body Shop scent?

Matilda On Broadway!

Hello Lovlies!

So whilst myself and Lauren were in New York we knew that we wanted to see a Broadway show as neither of us have seen one before and love belting out a good musical song (who doesn't!)
We had an idea of some of the shows that we wanted to see but decided not too book anything in advance as we heard that you can find some really good deals if you wait until the day and because we were not overly fussy on what we wanted to see we thought we would risk it and give it a go because we wanted to save as much money as possible.

So a different people recommended a few different ways to get tickets included TKTS and Rush Tickets but we didn't find that they had the best deals for the shows that we were interested in. The main musicals that we were looking at were Matilda, Aladdin and The Lion King , of course all very popular and highly raved about shows so we were recommended to go straight to the box office to see if they had any cheap tickets. We firstly went to see about Aladdin & The Lion King but they were all $100 + for a ticket, so we went to see about Matilda and we were very lucky and were able to get tickets for $49 and we actually had really good seats. Another little tip i should suggest is going early in the morning and if you are a student they give you a special offer which we were unaware of at the time!

So the show was at the Shubert Theatre and i thought it was a really cute little theatre plus the lovely man who welcomed us in complimented me dress! So as we took our seats we were met by the stunning theatre and the stage/set design for the show which i thought look amazing and really fitted the storyline.

Now onto what i thought of the actual musical itself, this musical is  based on the best selling book by Roald Dahl which for me was very interesting because when i thought of Matilda i always think about the film so was really interesting to see the comparison. If i could describe it in one word it would be 'Spectacular' honestly it was one of my favourite musicals that i have ever watched (up there with Les Mis). I couldn't even pin point one thing that made it stand out because all of it was amazing! To start the songs, I'm not going to lie but i think i only knew one of the songs from the musical before the show (Revolting Children) but i came away singing and still am months later. Don't even get me started on the child actors! I just cant get other the talent of all of the children, it really is breath taking, there energy & performance were actually really inspiring to me as a performer and i felt as though i learnt a lot from watching them .

This musical really does capture all the emotions i mean i did spend most of the time laughing but there are also rather emotion parts to it too. My favourite character hands down has to be Miss Trunchbull, all the way through i was laughing so hard at the character and how the actor portrayed her.
Once again i go back to the set design, if you have seen any previews of the musical on various award shows you may have seen the part where all the children are on the swings and to see it live was incredible, i just wanted to jump out of my seat and go and dance with them.

I would highly recommend that you try and get to
see this show if you are looking for a real feel good musical to watch!
I would definitely watch this one again.

What is your favourite musical?

Mini Lush Review: Let The Good Times Roll

Hello Lovlies!
So I'm back today with another little Lush review of one of my favourite skincare products from Lush which is 'Let The Good Times Roll ' which is a face & body cleanser. I was introduced to this product whilst working for Lush i was always intrigued by it because i saw the piece of actual popcorn in it and was like 'Popcorn for your face?'. One of my favourite things about this product is the smell, trust me go into a store and give this a sniff, it smells sort of like toffee popcorn!
This cleaner is made up of Maize Flour and Polenta to exfoliate the skin cinnamon which stimulated the skin, I just love how soft and bright my skin feels & looks after using this.
This product is available in two sizes 100g (£7.25) & 250g (18.10), a little does go a long way with this product, the 100g lasts me ages! I would defiantly recommend trying this product out especially at this time of year when are skin feels a bit dry!
How to use:
Step 1- Take a pea sized amount of cleanser in your hand and mix with a dash of water
Step 2- Gently rub the product all over the face
Step 3- Remove product with water/toner with a cotton pad/muslin cloth or flannel
*Bonus Tip*
My friend Luke suggested using Mask Of Magnaminty first and then use this afterwards and it works amazingly!

Have you tried any of Lush's skincare range?
Whats your favourite products?
Let me know in the comments!

Top places to eat breakfast - San Fransisco

Hello there!
So incase you didn't already know after my Disney adventures i made a little trip to San Fransisco which i really enjoyed (even though it was very chilly!) and i may even do a post about all the things we got unto whilst we there and any tips i can share. Todays post is all about Breakfast which is the most important meal of the day! Now being a new place can be quite daunting to get around especially for two 20 year old girls alone in the states and we often didn't know where to eat? so we used are trusty friend... Google! My friend Lauren was really great at finding the best places to eat by looking on Trip Advisor and at magazine articles, so today i thought id share with you the best places that we found to eat breakfast in San Fran to give you some recommendation incase you are planning a visit there.

1- Tartine Bakery

So lets start off with one of my favourites that we ate at in San Franisco and that is Tartine Bakery, we saw this place was recommend a couple times online and seemed to be quite popular so we thought we try it out for 'brunch'. As soon as we spotted the little shop on the corner we knew it must be good and this was because there was a que out of the door with people waiting to be served which is always a good sign. We didn't wait too long and as soon as we wanted in we were met with the smell of fresh homemade bread and rows of beautifully crafted cakes and pastries. Myself and Lauren decided to order a three cheese toasted sandwich (which was surprisingly verrryyy chessyy!) and then we went for a kind of banoffee pie style pastry which was soooo good!. The whole place had a really cool vibe and along the same street where some cool little vintage stores , I would defiantly recommend try this place out,.

2-Stacks

We actually found out about 'Stacks' from the lady at the hotel we were staying at, myself and Lauren had just landed and were too early to check in and wanted to grab some breakfast, so we dropped off our bags and headed straight there. We are both pancake lovers so we thought we would give them a go but  we made the mistake of order 3 pancakes each when we could barely handle one, i believe we had to pay extra for the maple syrup which was the restaurants own brand which was lovely. I had a little nosey around me and the other breakfast items looked lovely and the restaurant was pretty full which again is always a good sign.
(501 Hayes St,San Fransisco, CA 94102)

3- 1428 Haight Patio Cafe & Crepery

Finally the sweetest of them all '1428 Haight Patio', we had read online that this was the place to go if you wanted amazing crepes and they weren't far wrong. I had never actually had a crepe before but is pretty much like a english pancake! We went for the 'Berrylicious' crepe which was full of fresh fruit and Nutella we also accidentally ended up with a Smores Ice Cream Sundea (we thought it was a Smores Crepe!) but never the less it was amazing! So we split the ice cream and crepe and basically had a Willy Wonkas Breakfast! I would 100% recommend that you check this place out and the non sweet options looked equally as yummy!.

So there are my suggestions
Do you have any to add to my list?

Lush Liverpool Blogger Event! Halloween Range & Spa Tour

Hello Lovlies!
So a couple of weeks i was very kindly invited by Lush Liverpool to their exclusive blogger event! I was very excited as i have only ever been to one other blogger event which was at the Lush in Chester so i was looking forward to meet more blogger in my area. I absolutely love lush and incase you didn't know i actually worked in the Liverpool last year during the Christmas period so i was also looking forward to seeing some familiar faces. I wasn't sure what to expect from the event but i was guessing it would have something to do with the new Halloween range and their spa and i was correct. So i will talk you through the event and also talk you through the new products, here we go....
So prior to the event i met up with the lovely Kathryn who writes the blog 'Cherries In The Snow' , we had met at a previous Lush event and i would definitely recommend giving her blog a read!
So we met up and walked over to the store where we were met by a massive group of fellow bloggers it was great to get to know new people and have a chat with them. Once the store doors opened we were welcomed into the store and were split into little groups to go around the store (there was also some edible goodies put on for us too! Haven't had a good scone in along time).

All around the store there were different stations with Lush employees giving demonstrations and helping us find the perfect products for us, there was Andy on one station making the comforter bubble bar & cupcake face mask, Rosie was telling us more about the makeup range and gave us a few haircare tips.We were also given little sample pots so we could try out new products i grabbed a sample of the I Love Juicy Shampoo and the Million Dollar Moisturiser which Victoria from INTHEFROW always ravs about and so far i am loving it and maybe need to purchase the full size.
Of course the moment we were all waiting for the HALLOWEEN Range! Now i absolutely love this season and i especially love Lush's take on this spooky time of the year and i think this year they have gone all out and even added some more autumnal items into the mix! Now I'm not going to go into super detail on all the products as I'm hoping to do a post dedicated to the range so hang tight for that one!
There are some old favourites back from previous years like the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar (my favourite!) swell as the Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb & Shower Scream! There are also some fabulous new products on offer this year and i cant wait too try them all out! There are two new soaps, 2 gifts, 3 bath bombs, a bath melt and not to forget the beautiful knot wraps! Im pretty sure there is a product for everyone in this years range.
(Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb)

(Sparkly Pumpkin Demo!)

(Boo Bath Melt)

Lush Spa Liverpool are very proud of there English Countryside Spa and for a very good reason, its amazing! In the past i have been treated to a treatment here (review) and it was the best massage iv ever had the VIP treatment starts from the moment you walk into the store and leaves you feeling on cloud 9 for the rest of the day.
During this event we were given an exclusive tour of the beautiful spa with live demonstrations and demonstrations which gave me a real insight into the different treatments and am really looking forward to visiting the spa again (already have a Tailor Made booked!).

There is so much i could say about Lush's Spa so i think i may do a separate post about the different treatments! Maybe i just need to try them all...Just so i can tell you all about them of course! Research purposes hehe!.

I have to say i had a wonderful time at the Lush event and a massive Thankyou to Lush Liverpool for inviting me along! (Psttt who's excited about the Christmas Range launching on the 1st November? ME!).

Have you got your hands on the Halloween Range?
Visited a Lush Spa before?

Bath & BodyWorks Candles- UK Dupe

Hello there!
So today i thought i would share with you a little gem that i discovered whilst i was browsing the aisle in B&M. Now i am a big candle lover and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is jealous of America for being able to purchasing Bath & BodyWorks, whilst i was in the states i made many trips to the store but because of housing rules and lack of weight left in my suitcase i was only able to pick up a couple of the mini candles whilst i was in New York. I love the wintery & autumn scents that they do and want my whole house to smell of them!

So as i was saying whilst i was in B&M i decided to have a little look at the candles as i wanted to save my B&BW candles, and i came across some candles that looked and sounded very familiar...
B&M have a range of candles by Essence and they share a lot of similarities with the B&BW ones, firstly the scent from what i have smelt of both the candles the scents are very similar! Then there is the design, this year the B&BW candles have a leaf design copper lid whilst the Essence ones have a silver leaf design lid! the main difference is that the Essence ones are two wicks in comparison to three but  ! Not to mention that the Essence ones only cost £2.99 in comparison to $22.50.

The main thing that got me was the names of the candles! They are literally identical!
I picked up two of the candles which were 'Marshmallow Fireside' and 'Black Cherry Merlot' and i have to tell you they smell great. I actually have a mini B&BW 'Marshmallow Fireside' and the scent is slightly different as the Essence one is a little more sweeter instead of musky. Whilst i was in America i did give the 'Black Cherry Merlot' a smell i loved it but wasn't available in miniature size so i had to leave it behind and i have to say that this is very similar in scent.
Im a really looking forward to burning these candles in my room this autumn and i am going to have to keep an eye out to see if i can find anymore scents from the Essence range!

Do you have a favourite candle brand or scent?

Feel Unique- Pic N Mix Samples

Hello there!
So whilst i was on the Feel Unique site the other day i came across a new section called 'Samples' and who doesn't love samples? So basically Feel Unique have a new sort of sample scheme and there are 3 different ways that you can get sample sizes of some of your favourite products.
One of the options is the 'Try Me' options, so basically there a whole range of products that will have a little 'Try Me' sign on them which means when you purchase lets say a perfume that you havn't tried  before or you are buying a gift for someone , when you receive your package you will also receive a sample of that product so you can see if you like it and if you dont you can return the unopened full size product, which is a great idea.

Another way to receive samples is through the 'Basket Bonus', which is where you can choose 2 samples to add to your basket when you spend £30 and over.
The final option which is the one i chose the 'Pic 'N' Mix' option, which I'm going to talk a little more about and what i thought about the service.

Pic 'N' Mix
Now who doesn't love a good Pic 'N' Mis? (Never going to beat Woolworths tho!) So with this option Feel Unique have put together a wide variety (100+) of samples , you can choose 5 samples of product you wish to try and you just have to pay for the delivery (£3.95). I thought id give this a little try so i could let you know what i thought.

So here are the products the i picked...

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau De Perfume Sample (1.5ml)
I have been wanting to try this perfume for so long but keep forgetting to try it when I'm out shopping and sometimes smelling perfume in department stores is difficult because there are so many scents flying around! As soon as i sprayed this perfume i knew i had to buy it, it is such a lovely fragrance and think it may be my autumn/winter signature scent! Iv told myself i would buy myself a bottle if i get a job I'm interviewing for next week!(Wish me luck!)

BIODERMA Sensibio H20 Make-up Removing Micelle Solution (10ml)
Now this product has been a blogger favourite for the last few years but i had never tried it before so i thought this was a great opportunity to try it out. I have to say the sample packaging isn't the best for this product because you have to make sure once you open it you have to make sure you keep it up straight so you don't lose any product! I love using micelle water so i was looking forward to using this product! Iv given this product a go and i did like it but feel i need to try it more to give a true review but i do love my Garner Micelle water which seems like a really good cheaper alternative.

Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (4ml)
I am already a fan of the Nars foundations and i love to try out new ones so thought i would give this one a go, i ordered a sample of the colour 'Fiji' which seemed to be the palest shade I'm still yet to give it a good go because at first glimpse it seems to have more of a yellowy undertone which don't always suit me, but ill will be giving a go!.

La Roche- Posay Pigmentclar Serum (3ml)
Now i remember there was a time when everyone raved over this brand and really want to start using some good skincare items to add to my routine so i thought id give this a go. I have already used up the sample and actually really liked it obviously i couldn't get a clear result but it had definitely made me interested in trying more from the brand.

Emma Hardie Vitamin C Intense Daily Serum (5ml)
So my final choice was from another highly recommend brand, iv wanted to try something from Emma Hardie for a while but because of the rather high price tag id never really been given the opportunity. I am not too sure what to make of this product after cleansing my skin i added the serum and my skin felt very tight afterwards whether that is suppose to happen I'm not sure but my skin is quite dehydrated so i like to feel a bit my moisturised but i would love to try their cleansing balm as that looks like something i would love.

So overall i was happy with my little package and is something a little different and gave me the opportunity to try out some products from high end brands without risking it and spending all my money!

Will you be making a sample purchase?
Let me know what you choose if you do!

Disney Vlogs!

Hello There!
Hope you are all having a magical day! So today i just wanted to share something that iv been working on and still am working on. As you know i have spend my summer in the USA and whilst i was there i recorded little clips of my adventures so i could turn them into little Vlog style videos, I'm not going to lie they are not the best as I'm still getting used to using IMovie properly but i cant wait to look back on these in a few years and reminisce my Disney Days! So far i have created two videos so far from the start of my trip and i am currently working on the hundreds of other videos i have!.
So if you are interested click on the images which will take you over to my channel where you can find my videos, i will keep my Twitter when i upload a new video so keep your eyes peeled.

Mini Lush Review: Brightside Bubble Bar

Hello Lovlies!
So today i thought id put together a little post to give you a quick review on one of my favourite Lush products which is the 'Brightside' Bubble Bar. This was one that i only really fell in love with when i was working in Lush and used to be one of my favourite products to demo!.

Incase you are not familiar with the bubble bar concept, you take your bar and you break a little (or big!) piece off and crumble it under warm water and then you will get loads of cosy, colourful, beautifully smelling bubbles! Usually i get around 2 goes out of one of Lush's bubble bars but with this one because it is so big i could get 4 baths out of this one.

The reason i love this bubble bars is because of its amazing colour and its scent! If you are looking for a really uplifting bath scent then give this one a go, a great one for those summer baths or even in winter to brighten your day!
This bubble bar contains Tangerine Oil which gives it its uplifting zing! Bergamot oil which again is a very fresh scent and is great for making you feel more relaxed and refreshed as well as being good for encouraging sleep which is great after a long stressful day.

If you haven't given this one a go yet i would defiantly recommend popping this one in your basket next time your in a Lush store! I would also recommend popping in a 'Yoga Bomb' Bath Bomb as the two products together would make a perfect sunset paradise in your bath!

I hope you found this post helpful
and as always feel free to leave any questions in the comments

Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Apply For The Disney ICP

Hello Lovlies!
So today i thought id share with you some of my reasons why i think you should apply for the Disney International College Programme (ICP) and why it is a once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed.
So just incase you don't know what the Disney ICP it is basically a summer internship with the  Disney Company in Orlando,Florida. My programme ran through the 6th June to the 11th August (there is also a year long option called the Cultural Representative Programme), whilst on your programme there a number of different job roles that you may be given, during your final interview you will discuss what you top 3 roles are and then Disney will decide your final role if you are give the job.

Personally i was given Merchandise which i loved but other options maybe Character Performer, Character Attendant, Custodial, Full & Quick Food & Beverage, Life Guiding, Attractions ETC. So if you are passionate about one area try and show this in the interview stages but trust me when i say be as flexible as you can because that what Disney are looking for. For example of course being a dancer i wanted to be in Entertainment but that is a really hard role to get so i told them about my Lush experience as well as a working behind a bar, you want to give yourself as many options as possible to insure you get the job.
This programme is for university students who are either graduating or are applying already completed one year in university, so i could only once i had started 2nd year .For more information and to apply for the programme next year click here which will take you to the Yummy Jobs sight.
So here are my top 5 reasons (even though i could go on all day!) why i think you should apply for the programme:
1-Summer Of A Lifetime
Yes i know its a cheesy one to start off with but this sums it up in one for me! This was truly the best summer iv ever had which is why i stress to anyone that is thinking of applying to do so. I'm not going to lie the whole application process is the most stressful part, there were many tears shed because i didn't believe that i could get through but look at me now! Honestly there isn't one thing that i would of changed about this summer and are memories that i will have for a lifetime.

2-Days Off!
Now imagine a day off work in the UK....what do you do? have a lie in? do some shopping? Now imagine waking up on your day off and thinking ooo i may just nip to The Magic kingdom today or i may just take a trip down to the beach or like i know a couple people did ooo i may just go to California for a couple days! There was nothing better then getting some friends together (or even on my own) and going to the parks and enjoying are days off in our favourite parks. This is something i really miss (as i am sitting on my bed on my day off!).

3-Seeing 'A whole new world'
Now i had to get a cheeky Disney reference in there didn't i! but its true! The great thing about this programme is you get to learn so much about other peoples cultures and of course get to live in states and for me it really gave me a chance to grow up and learn a lot of new skills especially independence! Personally i didn't move out for university so didn't get that side of the uni experience but doing this programme gave me a sense of that and i really loved it.
Another great benefit of the programme is the fact that you have around 30 days after your programme to travel around the United States! which is an amazing opportunity which is why i decided to travel to California, San Fransisco and New York. If you are able to travel afterwards i would highly recommend it! You can always do what i did and decided what i wanted to do when i was out there.

4-Make New Friends
Once again this going to sound like a cliche but it is very true whilst on your programme you will meet some amazing people from all over the world and hopefully they will be lifelong friendships. I was very lucky to be living with 5 other lovely girls all from different parts of the UK & Ireland! and through interviews and meet ups i made friends with a lot of other folks from all around the UK which is great because i know they are never too far away from home!. The thing i wasn't expecting was to make as many international work friends as i did! The lovely girls & guys that i worked with in Typhoon were the most amazing people and i was able to make friends from all around the world including all different parts of America, South Africa, Turkey, Mexico and many more and I'm very lucky that I'm still in touch with them now even though i have left Disney! and i love them all!.

5- Future Prospects
Now for more of a grown up reason to do the programme! Doing this programme will set you aside from any other interviewee when applying for a job because not many people can say that they have worked for the Walt Disney Company which is one of the biggest companies in the world! No matter what field of work that you are going into having the 'Disney' name of you CV can work wonders, companies know how high Disney's standards are and how there customer service is world class! so why wouldn't they want to hire someone with Disney training. Like iv said you will also learn a lot of different skills on the programme that will stay with you for life like communication, organisation, the ability to communicate and converse with different ages, cultures and cater to every persons individual  needs and i could go on and on.

So i hope that this post has encouraged you to apply for the programme and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have! For some advice on the initial online application i have previous made a post with my some tips and advice, so click here to view that post.

Life Update: Where have i been?

Hello Lovlies!!

So firstly I want to apologise for not updating this blog in a longggg time! As you know this summer i was working in Disney Land Florida, and i have to say this was easily the best summer of my life!
As you can imagine it was a very busy girl and was constantly on the go between working in the parks and playing in them! I thought i would wait until i got home to update this blog so none of the posts were rushed and it just gives me a reason to reminisce (already want to go back).

So i am planning to post as many posts as i can about my adventures this summer, i also want to put together some tips and tricks that i picked up along the way that some of you may find useful someday.
Whilst i was away myself and my roommate Lauren actually decided that we didn't want too go home at the end of our programme and wanted to make the most of this opportunity and do some traveling. Ohana Means Family...!

Hello Lovlies!
So I'm back with another Orlando post, so today i thought if let you know what i got up to on my first proper day in Florida! Prior to arriving in Orlando we decided we wanted to book a character breakfast experience for our first morning and we decided to go for Ohana.
Ohana is a restaurant within Disney's Polynesian Resort, it is such a beautiful resort and really has that beachy, south pacific vibe.

So the five of us were kindly welcomed into the restaurant by one of the very friendly cast members and were shown to our table. The restaurant had a very family friendly feel and was playing Hawaiian music to get you in the vacation mood.
Instead of the usual buffet style breakfast a massive plate of food was brought to the table which meant there was no need for us to move out of our chairs and as soon as we wanted a new plate or more of a certain item you could just let a server know and they would bring it out too you. The food was so good and included fresh fruit and then some tradition breakfast items including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and of course the ever so famous Mickey Waffles.

To top off this amazing breakfast experiences a range of characters in their Hawaiian beach gear visited our table to sign autographs and take photos with us, character breakfasts are a great idea if you don't want to stand in long queues to meet your favourite characters, this way you get you talk and interact with them at you table and have some one on one time with them.
During the breakfast we got to meet Stitch, Lilo, Pluto and our brand new boss Mickey Mouse!

So to conclude, i would defiantly recommend trying this beautiful restaurant if you are planning your Disney vacation as it is a lot of fun and great value for money. Thank you for visiting and keep a eye open for more Disney Related posts! If you have any post requests or questions just let me know in the comments and i shall be sure to get back to you.

And So The Adventure Begins ...

Hello Lovlies!
Im sorry i haven't posted on here for a while but my life has changed quite a bit the last few weeks and has pretty much been non stop! So if you have read my blog before you will know that i have moved to Orlando Florida for the summer to work for Disney World!
And i am very happy to announce that i am here and am loving every second of it! I have been here for around 2 weeks now and only just getting the chance to post as there has been a lot of exploring to do! I'm going to try my best to keep this blog updated throughout my trip as much as i can! So lets start from the beginning, here we gooooo.....

So on the 5th June i was awake (Didn't really sleep anyway ) at around 4.30am, so i got up got ready to go, said my goodbyes :( and then my Sister In Law and Brother drove my to Manchester Airport which was then met with more goodbyes! But once i was in the airport i was absolutely fine and got my bags checked in and then it wasn't long till there was a big gang of Disney people all excited and nervous about our new adventure. Once through security (i would be the one to leave my phone in my pocket!) we decided that we needed some breakfast so went and sat down and got some food (I had mini Nutella Waffles!) . It was lovely getting to know everyone and finding a bit about the people who id be spending the summer with! Then it was time to board the plane! Luckily i was able to get a seat right opposite from my new friend Aimee so we were able to chat to each other throughout the flight.

The flight went really well, we had a bit of turbulence but i was able to watch a couple films which included Deadpool, How to be single, The other side of the door (not the smartest idea to watch a horror film on a plane!) and then watched a bit of Zootropolis! The food wasn't too bad either we even got Mini Twister ice lollies (Yes Virgin Atlantic!) . And then we safely landed in Sunny Orlando , went through immigration picked up our bags then i head onto the Disney Magical Express to Disney's Arts Of Animation Resort, where i would be meeting my roommates for the night a bit later on.

So i arrived at the beautiful Art Of Animation Resort and we were in the Nemo Suite! The hotel is so cute and within the resort there are 4 lands, so there is Nemo, Cars, Little Mermaid and the Lion King! Disney's attention to detail is amazing and i would definably recommend having a wonder around or staying there if you ever get a chance. So once i checked in and explored the hotel a little bit my roommates for the night arrived , i was going to be staying with 5 other lovely girls (Lauren, Emma , Meesha, Shannon and Nav).

Once we were all dressed and ready to go we decided to catch a bus from the hotel to Disney Springs to get some food! We only wanted something quick so we decided to go to WolfGang Puck Express where me and Lauren decided to split a pizza! Then it was time to head back to the hotel. Myself,Lauren and Emma decided to walk around the outside of the hotel and try and see as much of the resort as we could!. Then it was time to head back to our room, have a chat and then head to bed.
So in my next post i will let you know what we got up to the next day (Hint: It involved Mickey Waffles!).

1 Step Closer- VISA Appointment & Disney Meet Up

Hello Lovlies!
So last week headed down to London to tick the last box before i head off to Orlando in less than 2 weeks! The reason i had to head down to London was to visit the American Embassy to get my working VISA so really this trip determined whether i was actually going to Florida or not! but thankfully i had no problems and I'm going to America!!!
So i thought id write this quick post to let you know what happens during your visit at the embassy and what i got up to in London.

So on Tuesday 16th myself and my brother (he tagged along to look after his little sis) travelled down to London on the train and stayed the night in a hotel (very squished and roasting hotel but did for the  night). My appointment was for 11.30 on the Tuesday so we watched a film in the hotel and hit the hay! we got ready handy and decided to slowly make our way over the embassy, taking a detour through Hyde Park which was perfect because it was so nice and sunny (we may have got a bit lost!but found our way in the end) *Tip- if your not used to London underground system try and plan it out before you go everything moves so fast in London can be a bit overwhelming! If you are going the embassy i would say get off at Marble Arch Station and then its only a 5 minute walk away.

By the time we arrived at the embassy it was around 10.45 which was 45 minutes before my allocated time but they didn't mind at all and i just joined in the que. If you are feeling a little nervous about the appointment then maybe try and find someone who has the same time or day as you and meet up with them before getting in the que. I met a lovely girl called Aimee who is going to Disney and even turns out we are on the same flight, it was just easier having someone to chat too whilst your waiting.

Prior to your interview you are told all the documents that you are required to bring make it easier on yourself and make sure you triple check you have everything you need , they don't ask for everything but its worth having them with you, just in case! Once you have sued up outside, they check you have the right documents then send you through to a airport style room where you go through a metal detector and your bags are scanned. Next you go into the embassy and show your passport and documents then you are given a number and wait to be called to a booth, the whole process is really smooth and the ladies i spoke to were both lovely. You basically show them your documents, they may ask what are you doing in the states? what are you doing when you return? quite basic things and then your done and free to go. You get the option to pay £18 to get it sent back to your house or from a pick up point for free, i decided to pay for the delivery and they said it would take up to a week but i got mine on the Friday so only 3 days later which was fabulous.

So after the appointment myself and Aimee decided to walk up to Hyde Park (only round the corner) and look for more Disney Folk, in the end we found a big group of fellow CRP's and we chilled and chatted in the sunshine and then some of use went for food and of course we had to all visit the Disney Store and get a picture in Cinderella's Carriage!
It was lovely to get to know some of the lovely people I'm going to be spending the summer with and they were all so nice and made me feel a lot less nervous about moving to a different country on my own, so i would definitely recommend organising as many meet ups as your can before you go on the programme or even if it was something similar.

After saying goodbye to the Disney gang me and my brother had a look around Oxford Street, but were both so tired so ended up spending around 2 hours in Starbucks (The Smores Marshmallow Frappuccino Happy Hour! Yes Please) . Then we made our way back to Euston and go our train back home!.

I cant believe how close i am away from going to Orlando and I'm looking forward to updating my blog whilst I'm there, so if you have any blog requests or questions please let me know!
